Here's Ella passed out at 5:00 one afternoon. Her sleep habits have been quite the source of frustration lately. She typically doesn't nap anymore, but then by dinner time she is a monster and will sometimes fall asleep wherever. If she does nap she's up until at least 10 or 11, but if she doesn't she will usually fall asleep by 8:30. No matter what time she goes to bed she is always up by 6:30-7:30. It's difficult not having the quiet time during the day which I will definitely need once the baby comes and dealing with the no-nap afternoon crabbiness is not much fun either. As of right now my plan is putting her in her room when Gia naps and having her watch a movie on her little DVD player, and putting her to bed at 8:00 each night regardless of whether or not she napped and trying the supernanny technique where you just keep putting her back in her bed each time she gets up. The technique worked with the naughty chair so hopefully it will work with the bedtime routine as well. We'll see!
Here's Gia wearing the rings from the ring toss game. She is such a comedian, she loves to make people laugh, especially Ella. She is saying all sorts of words and is always keeping us on our toes. In case you haven't noticed in other pics over the past couple months, gone are her blue eyes, they are more of a hazel now. I should have known Daddy's dominant brown-eye gene would take over :)
